As far back as she can remember, Dallas resident Christina Sadberry always wanted to know the truth, the truth about finding her biological family members.
-
2
I just did a 23andMe⁽¹⁾, just to see if there was any birth family that might have popped up, through DNA, since I was adopted.
-
3
That test came up empty until musician Raymond Turner also took a DNA test. - "And I was just looking to find out what part of Africa I was from."
-
4
Raymond's test connecting the dots, and revealing something unexpected. - When I opened up the app, the very first thing I saw was a name and a DNA percentage, and then they give you the relationship, and it said half sister.
-
5
That's when the siblings got to work, going online and making contact. - We did what most people would do and that's we took to Facebook.
-
6
For Christina that face staring back at her on the screen, seemed oddly familiar. - He looks so familiar, maybe we've seen him before but I think looking back it was I see a little bit of me and him.
-
7
It turns out Christina had seen him before, earlier that day when she took her 11 year old son to the hospital. - And they had actually walked here by the studio, and she saw me sitting here.
-
8
Raymond makes music with patients at cook children's hospital. - I started working here in december of 2015. - That biological family Christina started searching for all those years ago was right across the hall.

9
In that moment you know there had been no lapse of time, it was like I was hugging the sister like this person that I had known all my life. - I never would have expected it.
-
10
Brother and sister sharing a moment they never expected, now with many more moments to look forward to. - Thank you so much. I'm a hugger. - I am too.
